The outside of the coloured porcelain is bisque, which gives it a matt finish similar to plastic. The inside of the bottle is glazed to make it waterproof and able to be used as a vase or container.

Manufacturing: This vase is handmade in Portugal. Plastic bottles are used to create moulds. Pigmented liquid porcelain is poured into the moulds, leaving a thin layer that creates the shape of the vase. After drying, the inside of the bottle is enamelled without lead and fired at 1300 ºC. All this manual work is carried out by a team of seven artisans, which is why each vase is unique.
